dunnhumby isn’t most companies.
And you’re not most people.

Most companies merely meet expectations. dunnhumby defies them, using big data, deep expertise and AI driven platforms to decode human behaviour and habits. We thrive on the unknown, applying emerging technology to innovative software platforms and creative media solutions – and challenging convention every step of the way. As a result, in just over 30 years, we’ve improved the lives of nearly one billion customers and counting, all by making it easier for businesses to put the Customer First.

A returnship is a 6-month placement that supports mid-to-senior level, professional and experienced women back into the workplace after an extended career break.

This is an untapped talent pool, as there are often many barriers and biases that prevent a successful return to work. Our six returnees will join us in September, working across the areas of data science, data consulting, product management, UX design and engineering.

Not one, but two feathers in the cap for dunnhumby India for the great efforts our team has been doing to make dunnhumby a workplace that truly values diversity, equity and inclusion. Congratulations dunnhumby for winning the award for Top 5 companies in Diversity (represented by Neha Malhotra at the ceremony) and Shaveta Kapoor for becoming a Top 5 Diversity champion, at the recent #DivHERsity Awards 2023, hosted by JobsForHer. This is also a strong testimony to the success of the Women Returners Programme 'Back To Her Future' we started in 2022, that received an overwhelming response. At dunnhumby India, we were able to move the M:F gender ratio by 8% from 73:27 to 65:35 in the last couple of years, through conscious, disciplined and persistent hiring. Wasn't easy given the large denominator, but our teams made it happen. We are striving to improve it further in the coming years. If society has a near 50:50 gender ratio, why can't we work towards replicating it at the workplace? This recognition goes to every dunnhumbian who believes passionately that a diverse and inclusive workplace is the key pillar of a fair, productive and happy workplace.
